Keystone Fire and Security and Saucon Valley School District are partnering to increase student and staff safety.
We are working together to upgrade the existing district wide video surveillance system. Keystone Fire and Security will be implementing new Honeywell Video Management System consisting of IP cameras, NVRs and MaxPro Viewer software. The cameras and their placement are designed specifically to provide excellent viewing in difficult areas such as long hallways and varying light conditions.
The Honeywell Video Management System Network will provide Saucon Valley School District with live and recorded video monitoring, configuration and system management as well as mobile monitoring. Administration will be able to investigate events and alarms by simultaneously viewing alarm videos at various stages allowing for a proactive approach to surveillance and security. Each school will have the capability of viewing their own camera feeds through the use of a web client. This same web client will allow cameras to be viewed remotely, for example by the police from their vehicles.
Saucon Valley School District has relied on Keystone Fire and Security to provide Honeywell Security solutions for buildings and buses for dozens of graduating classes. This partnership allows the School District to leverage existing infrastructure and Honeywell technology to provide a contemporary solution that increases usability and safety features.
At Keystone Fire and Security, one of our Company Values is that “we treat others the way we want to be treated.” When many in our industry will recommend a “rip and replace” to existing technology, Keystone Fire and Security always looks to use existing resources where value still exists.
