Typical Usages:
Pressurized water extinguishers typically contain a 2-1/2 gallon charge of pressurized water which can develop a stream in excess of 30 feet. For use on Class A Fires only, these units extinguish by cooling, soaking and penetrating solid combustible hazards. Pressurized water extinguishers are commonly used in offices, libraries, hospitals-patient areas, museums and locker rooms.
Sizes and Service Requirements:
Stored Pressure: 2 ½ gal.
Maintenance: Monthly Inspection; Annual Maintenance; and 5-Year Hydrostatic Testing
*To protect from freezing the extinguisher should be charged with a loaded stream/anti-freeze charge.
**Stored Pressure extinguishers containing a loaded stream/anti-freeze agent shall be disassembled on an annual basis and subject to complete maintenance.
