Water Mist extinguishers are most commonly used for Class A — ordinary combustible fires where a Class C — electrically charged hazard exists. The fine de-ionized water spray from the unique wand nozzle provides safety from electrical shock, greatly enhances the cooling and soaking characteristics of the agent, and reduces scattering of the burning materials. Water mist extinguishers are used in hospital environments, telecommunication facilities, clean rooms and areas where valuable books and documents are stored.
